I Saw A Spider

I Saw A Spider

I saw a spider, climbing down the wall.
See her spin a web, it’s so beautiful.
Along comes the fly, and he lands inside.
See him fight for his life, but it’s a shame cause she’s going to dine on him tonight.

Sometimes I feel like that fly.
And the world is a web and the government, is the one who keeps sucking us dry.
And I am white, and thats alright.
But the color of skin is the reason why we all want to fuss and fight.

And I don’t understand why. Why You treat me the way that you do.
You say that you love me but you don’t mean it I can tell by your attitude.
I wish we could just get away.. leave this planet earth behind I’m telling you one day.
It will drag you down, six foot deep.

So I took the holy water, from out of the toilet.
And made a cross for protection on my forehead.
What am I afaid of, why do I hide.
How can I escape this ugly, this ugly that dwells inside.

All because I saw a spider.
She was climbing down the wall.
I seen her spin a web it was so beautiful.
Along comes Mr. Fly.
And he lands inside.
I seen him fight for his life…
I seen him fight for his life…
But its a shame…
Cause she dined on him tonight.

Being A Clam

Being a clam only hides oneself. Opening up, letting the sun shine in, provides a reflection. In this reflection, one will see, “I am not a clam. I am a beautiful human being.” — Wade Lancaster

Think of only today… it is the beginning of all future travels.

Life is a journey. A journey never meant to be traveled alone. Seize the day. Look out of every window. Live your dreams. Dwell on possibilities, but not too long. Forgive. A little less worry. A little less hurry. A little more kindness. Embrace the one who loves you today because tomorrow may never come. Memories complete the soul.

Sometimes the hardest things in life are worth doing. Belief is intellectual knowledge that’s a state of mind or assent of mental attitude. Therefore, without acceptance of guarantee for truth it becomes a proposition without full knowledge. So belief without truth is gossip or a flawed sense of reality.
A mental attitude of acceptance or assent toward a proposition without the full intellectual knowledge required to guarantee its truth.

Every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.
Albert Einstein

You’ve done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities, redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination.
What you do not seek, you cannot discover.

Relativity is a paradox of constant applicability.
My entire life is a sheet of paper that a sphere passes through.
I am an onion shell personality, yet electric.
Your action never caused me to be a refraction because I never blended.
Going with you to the moon and back is so much better then going alone.
Build your plan because every great journey starts with a great plan.
Act and take the right steps to bring your plan to life.
Develop, grow, and set a course for success.
Network and build your personal brand in places you have never ventured.
Prepare for your future and be ready for opportunities you want to pursue.
Seek and discover yourself because nobody knows you better than you.
The possibilities are endless on what you can achieve.
Further your education, expand your mind, and unlock your potential.
Look into your heart. You have more to give when you embrace internal love.
Mismanagement of ones body and mind is cause for lower self esteem. Be all you ever wanted to be.
Dream when you sleep, release the stress that plaques your mind, and wake each day refreshed.
When you arise each day, be positive, admittance of positive thought make the day positive too.
Surrounding oneself with positive people, positive environments, and positive thoughts make for positive results.

Sometimes the glass is simply half empty,
but most of the time it’s overflowing.

The heart lives inside the body. It can only live outside the body when it is given to another. The heart is the pathway to loving. Follow the path and your heart will set the course. The mind lives inside the head. It can only live outside when it is shared. Open your mind and see… you are more then just a shell. Express your thoughts, you will discover the world known as expression. Take the ladder upward from the cave of darkness. Emerge and see the beauty of the light above. Life is better when shared with someone. Surround yourself with the one who loves you. Open your arms and receive the gift of love. Open your mind and heart, then and only then, can you release your burdens and embrace the wonderment of sharing, giving, and receiving the gifts of love.

We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else for us to find.

Let someone love you just the way you are. As flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.

My heart, my life, my soul, she has the key to them all. She has but to turn the key and allow me to surround her with my warmth and love.

Brokenness distills the intentions of the heart by helping us to be more honest with ourselves. We begin to realize that we are more vulnerable than at first we thought; that our faith is not as strong as we imagined, and that our motives are often mixed and unconscious. Illusions are striped away; idols crumble; deeper levels of selfishness are uncovered; the gap between our words and our deeds. If someone comes into your life and has a positive impact on you, be thankful that your paths crossed. And even if they can’t stay for some reason, be thankful that they somehow made you happy, even if it was just for a while.

The woman’s kindness tames and guides the lion. The quiet gentle qualities-courage, faith, forgiveness, love and patience–associated with inner strength are much more powerful than brute force and material power. It is these qualities that help us endure when times are tough. When your enemy is hungry, A good man will feed them. He is a warrior. And because of his woman, he shows humility.

Remembering being mortal; I remember. I do not feel it. I can, if I choose. It is very, very sad being mortal. There is happiness, yes. But mostly sadness. As I have said, “Count only the happy hours.” For mortals, they are all to few. But for me — there is no more feeling. Only knowing. Not quite no more feeling. I still want to win. I want to defeat evil. Perhaps I have lost the feeling for the people, for their suffering. I don’t want that feeling. It is of no use to me. That is no longer what matters to me. I only want not to lose. To lose would be very, very bitter.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

How smart are humans? A single minded answer, being humans are the ones doing the definition. Yet, are there any other known species with whom we can converse to define that answer?

The worst kind of bondage is when you are so oppressed by yourself -so enslaved by your inner urges – that you are no longer able to think outside of your desire or to choose otherwise. It might be greed, the desire for pleasure, fear, or the “need” to be right (i.e., pride), but whatever controls you is ultimately your taskmaster. Self-deception entices us to deny the consequences of our passions or to excuse them by pretending we are victims. Because of this, we become further enslaved to our own sense of self-importance, and we are ensnared within the prison house of the all-demanding ego.
